1838-          birth of father, Ambrose MacGregor.
1852 –     mother Sibyla Leclair  is born.
1871 –     parents wed.
1872 –         birth in Swain County, NC .
1884-    First record of enrollment in public school in Rutherford, NC.
1886-    youth achievements mentioned several times in Rutherford County papers.
1888-    (difficult to uncover) mention of “distasteful incident” in local paper.
1896-    B.A. in History degree from Grant College (defunct), McDowell County.
1898-    First mention of ministry in papers, a revival meeting in Walker County, GA.
1898-    death of Father. Property records show sale of estate to pay debt. Beauregard not mentioned in will.
1898-1908-    well document abundance of ministry all over the the South, mentioned in records of many churches.
1908-    property records show purchase by Beauregard of former MacGregor properties and cotton interests.
1908-1915-    pamphlet and, later, book publishing, all promoting Christian evangelism.
1910-    admitted to Masonic lodge in Rutherfordton, NC, Western Star Lodge No. 92
1914-    tax records show delinquent income tax payments, penalties applied.
1915-    sells MacGregor cotton concerns, moves to Manhattan, with summer residence in Fairport, NY near Rocester. Joins Fairport Masonic Lodge #476.
1916-    joins Societas Rosicruciana In America, Grantwood College, Grantwood, NJ. Starts publishing occult pamphlets and magazine correspondence under pseudonym, Servire Altissimam. Pseudonym not public knowledge, but known to Lazlo Sandor.
1917-    begins Masters level study at Columbia University.
1918-    Servire Altissimam publishes first of several books of occult speculation.
1920-    Recieves  M.A. in History degree.
